-More money from raiding montessoris

-The leveling for the Player and NPC is a bit easier, you get more XP

-Buildings are build a bit faster

I know there's Viking Conquest Retempered, but that's what I play - and it's a more general balancing act than most mods do.

When I say good mods, I mean are there those that expand on the Viking Conquest formula and make it more interesting? Really, I find myself starting as Christian, becoming Pagan (Converting gives +5 relations with Pagans), executing prisoners for the sweet loot selling at bandit camps, getting ships and maxing the Norsemen. Then I go to Engleland and unleash the Wrath of the Norsemen and I do it until I am a conquerer for my king, or become my own king and Conquer in my own name. Then I repeat.
