1. Best Answer: I had this problem with a Ford Mondeo. There is a leak on the car that allows water to seap in to the carpet. The leak is more than likely on the front windscreen seal and the water is running behind your dashboard to soak in to the carpet. It is not usually easy to see but it is there.
