Google Launcher Has Stopped
First off, delete every mod (just the mods) that you have on your data folder. If you are lazy like me, you probably didn't use to do this in previous patches. I noticed that even though my out of date mods still made the launcher work fine for me in previous patches (had to disable some for the game to work), this newest patch for some reason made the launcher not work at all unless you delete the mods that are not compatible. After deleting all the mods I had in the data folder, I noticed that once the launcher starts working again, it re-installs all of the mods you deleted back to the folder because you technically didn't delete it on the mod manager, and while the launcher does work, starting the game will crash it and trying to start up the launcher again with the mods back in the data file will cause the launcher to not work again. I noticed that out of all the mods I had though (by now probably only 30 or so), only three mods were the cause of my launcher not working: Ancient Colors by Epaminondas, Special Effects Enhancement Mod by Mech_Donald as well as his Better Blood Textures mod. There may be other mods out there that causes this launcher glitch, but be sure that once you do get the launcher up and working again (if you are having the same problem I had), delete everything on mod manager, and make sure to delete any mod files remaining on the data folder.
TL;DR If the launcher doesn't start, delete every mod file (be careful not to delete necessary game files) on 'data' folder of Rome II. Start launcher and delete everything on mod manager, go back to data folder and make sure to delete any reinstalled mods as a result of opening the launcher.
P.S. If I am over-complicating things with this explanation please tell me and I will take this down. This was my own solution to my own problems, and I am infamous among my friends for being bad at computers :S
